This Privacy Policy explains how Oleksandr Kharybin, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom, trading as AEGIS Terminal ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit aegis-terminal.com or use our Software.

We are the controller of your personal data for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Waitlist and contact information: email address when you join our waitlist. No other personal data is collected at the waitlist stage.

Software users, upon subscription: email address, payment information processed by Stripe, our payment provider, once licensing launches, license activation data and a hardware fingerprint used for license validation only, and software usage logs for debugging purposes.

Technical data automatically collected: IP address anonymised after 24 hours, browser type and version, operating system, pages visited and time spent.

We use your information to send you waitlist and product updates with your consent, manage your software license, provide customer support, improve the Software, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your data to third parties, use your data for advertising, share your data with exchanges or brokers, or access your trading data or API keys.

We process your data on the following legal bases: consent for marketing emails, contract to provide the Software service, and legitimate interests for fraud prevention and software improvement.

Waitlist emails are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

Customer data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 3 years.

License data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 1 year.

You have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, restrict or object to its processing, withdraw consent for marketing emails, and request data portability.

We use Stripe for payment processing, Mailchimp for email communications and Cloudflare Pages for website hosting. When licensing launches, we will use a license management provider, which we will name in this policy before it receives any of your data.

Stripe and Mailchimp may process your data outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Such transfers are protected by the safeguards these providers offer under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

We use minimal cookies for essential website functionality and anonymous analytics with no personal tracking.
